What are the requirements for setting up a TUREC center?

Basic requirements for setting up a test facility are a covered parking shed, uninterrupted power supply and internet connectivity. Our team will do a feasibility check and discuss operational requirements

My customer already uses data loggers/continuous remote monitoring solutions, how will a TUREC test add value?

While monitoring solutions focus on temperature compliance during a trip, a TUREC test provides a holistic view of the underlying infrastructure performance and health with strategic insights on energy consumption & repair requirements to the fleet owner and risk assessment from load provider perspective

How much time does it take for a TUREC test?

A test consists of cooling and holding phase. Exact test duration depends on the holding capacity and ambient conditions. Most tests last between 6-24 hours

My customer needs calibration certificates for sensors used for thermal mapping. Does TUREC provide the same?

Yes all temperature sensors included in test kit are pre-calibrated at NABL accredited lab (with industry leading accuracy) allowing deep analytics and performance insights. A TUREC test report is easy to share, verifiable and includes all calibration certificates for sensors used in test

While the first TUREC test for any vehicle can only be done by the body builder or at an independent third party center, subsequent periodic tests for health monitoring and certificate renewal can be done at your on-premise TUREC center

How frequently should a Reefer vehicle body be tested for insulation health?

For most vehicles (especially new) we recommend yearly TUREC test. For older vehicles or high running vehicles 6-month tests are recommended for early diagnosis of any leakages. Incase your vehicle is facing any temperature compliance or holding issue, a TUREC test is highly recommended for diagnostics pre & post repair
